the possible - and do it.The Associate Director, SEO Specialist
will help drive SEO strategies and opportunities, as well as
internal and external relationships. This position will be
responsible for defining key SEO deliverables and processes,
executing work, developing recommendations, monitoring progress,
and measuring results. This may include research, technical SEO,
content strategy, conversion optimization, or a combination of
approaches. The Associate Director, SEO Specialist should be
passionate about search and how this channel can help drive client
goals. Job Responsibilities
- Be the day-to-day SEO client lead for search engine
optimization needs, partnering with internal teams and possibly
partner agencies
- Develop metadata and technical optimizations for new website
development or website updates
- Perform keyword research using various tools (ie. SEMRush) to
inform content strategy
- Perform technical audits, analyze performance data, and
implement optimizations to improve SEO performance
- Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in our content
or areas of improvement in our web design in partnership with
content strategy
- Track important SEO metrics including organic traffic,
conversion rates and time spent on page
- Report on performance metrics comparing them to our SEO goals
and benchmarking data
- Optimize pages for mobile
- Implement link building strategies and manage backlinks to
build online authority
- Develop expertise in current agency tools and keep a pulse on
the new tools, vendors and data sources that will improve agency
capabilities
- Assist with the development of strategies, budgets, and
tactical recommendations for all SEO deliverablesDesired Skills and
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related major
- 4+ years of SEO management (experience in the healthcare
industry a plus)
- Strong knowledge of SEO and content strategy best
practices
- Passion for search and desire to continuously learn, educate,
and expand knowledge
- Ability to monitor, track, and report on SEO results
- Knowledge of common SEO tools such as SEMRush, Screaming Frog,
Google Search Console, Google PageSpeed Insights, Google
Mobile-Friendly Test, Google Trends, SplitSignal, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of the digital landscape, including
social media, search, paid and earned media tactics
- Knowledge of analytics tools including Google Analytics or
Adobe Analytics
- Highly analytics, detail oriented, and self-motivated with the
ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative thinker who is willing to think outside of the box and
consistently look for opportunities to improve current capabilities
and processes
- Possess outstanding time management skills and the ability to
effectively prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint,
Excel, Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsYou choose
