LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, ASSOCIATE - SR. MANAGER COHORTS (HYBRID - BOSTON, NEW YORK, CHICAGO, OR WASHINGTON, DC)

The Learning and Development Manager manages and designs programs and initiatives that support the firm's strategy for the continued professional development and learning of its employees. This role works closely with the Director of Leadership Development, and broader Talent team, Human Resources, and individual consultants to ensure high-quality and effective delivery of learning programs for our consulting staff.
Specifically, the Learning and Development Manager will focus on Associate- Sr. Manager Learning and Development and will have a significant impact in shaping the nature and quality of learning and professional development for our highly successful Associate Development Program. - They will work closely with the Director of Leadership Development and the rest of the team to design and manage innovative learning programs and experiences for our Associate - Sr. Manager cohorts; develop a cultivation strategy and plan for high-achieving consultants; contribute to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion curriculum; spearhead the development of e-learning content as applicable for a range of programs; and partner with Staffing and Human Resources to manage the performance review process for the Associate - Sr. Manager cohorts.

    How You'll Help Our Team Succeed

    • Own the full curriculum for the Associate - Sr. Manager Development curriculums, which includes:

      • Designing creative, interactive, and impactful learning programs for the firm's Associate - Sr. Manager programs, utilizing creative approaches and a range of different learning interventions.
      • Managing, influencing, and soliciting input from, and collaborating with, team members, the LEAD committee, the Associate/Manager Learning Heads, as well as the Associate/Manager Career Quality Committee.

      • Manage the organization and implementation of the firm's Associate/Manager learning programs in partnership with other team members including scheduling, managing registration through the LMS, preparing materials, preparing faculty, and conducting post-program evaluations.
      • Evaluate, update and maintain existing learning content, as appropriate.
      • Manage the annual performance review process for the Associate - Sr. Manager cohorts, in partnership with HR and the Associate/Manager Advisor Coordinators in each office, and manage the identification of potential Graduate School Support and Direct promotion candidates.
      • Partner with representatives from the DEI council as well as teammates to design and delivery DEI related content and initiatives.
      • Support the orientation and integration of processes and programs for new Associates/Managers, helping to drive improvement of onboarding the firm's new hires.
      • Identify learning that would be well-served in an e-learning platform and develop appropriate content to facilitate this transition, partnering with others on the LD team.
      • Partner with fellow LMS system administrators/super-users to maintain user data, course data, and reporting.
      • Contribute, as needed, to other firmwide talent initiatives.

        What You'll Need to Be Successful

        • 7+ years of professional development/leadership development experience, preferably in a professional services firm.
        • Strong project and client management skills.
        • Experience designing content for programs delivered in-person, virtually, and online.
        • Experience curating learning programs for various career levels and disciplines.
        • Experience as a super-user in a Learning Management System. Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) a plus.
        • Knowledge of HTML and web-design a plus.
        • Self-motivated and strong work ethic. Thrives in a fast-paced environment. - Successfully juggles multiple competing tasks and demands, establishes priorities, and meets deadlines.
        • Strong team player. Highly adaptable and collaborates effectively with others.
        • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
        • Highly developed interpersonal skills and capable of handling sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires discretion, poise, tact, and diplomacy.
        • Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and organization skills.
        • Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint (advanced), Excel (advanced)
        • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
