What you will doNational Louis University is seeking applicants interested in joining the McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership as the Strategic Initiatives Manager. This position will manage new research and evaluation activities. This position will manage all data initiatives, the McCormick Center's Impact Study and Strategic Priorities, and special projects as assigned. The Strategic Initiatives Manager will also support efforts to secure funding and supervise a research associate.

OutcomesIn this role you will:

  • Manage the design, implementation, project management, and data analysis for quantitative and qualitative research studies. Present findings at professional meetings, as funding permits, and submit scholarly papers for publication. Supervise a research associate in generating and analyzing evaluation data.
  • Work with all McCormick Center teams to determine appropriate data collection practices and procedures. Manage data collection systems and ensures consistent archival of data across all projects.
  • Conduct and coordinate original and/or review research on early childhood program leadership resulting in three Research Notes per year.
  • Support efforts to secure funding for programmatic and research activities.
  • Manage the McCormick Center's Impact Study and Strategic Priorities, including creation, tracking, updating, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Your CompetenciesEssential Skills/Experience:

    • Master's degree in Early Childhood Administration, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, organizational leadership, or related field required. Doctorate preferred.
    • 3-5 years of designing and implementing research projects and evaluation studies in early childhood or related field are required.
    • 3-5 years of data management experience is required
    • 3-5 years of survey software experience is required.
