Description: DescriptionResponsible for the overall management
and facilitation of all aspects of the program including
habilitation activities, manufacturing processes, personnel issues,
building needs, and administrative support functions. Responsible
for overall health and safety standards of the program Essential
Responsibilities:Interview, hire and train employees, evaluate
performance, and recommend changes in employee status. Ensure
disciplinary action is implemented, as appropriate, in a fair and
consistent manner in accordance with agency policies and
procedures. Monitor facility activities to ensure compliance with
all relevant rules, regulations, and service contracts including,
but not limited to, Agency policies, CARF requirements, DHS Rules
[i.e., 119, 120, 50, 51], DOL & OSHA regulations, and etc.Provide
guidance, structure, support, and training to employees. Coordinate
internal & external staff training, ensuring all required training
is completed and meets agency and governmental
requirements.Coordinate/approve scheduling of activities of all
personnel (i.e., use of benefit time, in-service training,
community outings, and etc.), ensuring adequate coverage
availability for all functions of the facility. Monitor staffing
pattern on a daily basis, substituting for and/or moving staff to
fill needs caused by emergency absence. Chair managerial and all
staff meetings, communicating pertinent information and maintaining
documentation of such. Ensure information from managerial meetings
is shared and documented with direct contact staff and clients (as
appropriate) via unit and client meetings.Maintain projected levels
of enrollment and manage the flow of clients into the program and
among units. Monitor the use of ancillary and specialized services.
Oversee the timely and accurate completion of all Intake and
Community Resources related reports and documents.Review the
quality of each client's Individual Service Plan, monitoring the
timely completion of staffings, assessments, monthly reviews,
referrals for services, and other pertinent services and documents.
Periodically attend staffings. Ensure behavior programs are written
properly and necessary approvals are obtained. Serve as resource
person to the QIDP's providing coaching and input as needed and
assisting in resolving unusual case management issues. Monitor and
integrate the activities of consultants and other ancillary
services to meet program and client needs.Oversee manufacturing
activities, providing input to marketing and operations personnel
regarding the feasibility of proposed contracts. Work with
production personnel to ensure the appropriate set up of production
lines (i.e., task lay-out, time studies, work orders, & etc.) and
the proper completion of related production activities (Shipping &
handling, material storage, machinery maintenance, & etc.). Work
with habilitation personnel to ensure the appropriate
implementation of production lines (following work order steps,
training clients adequately, assuring continuous flow of work,
tracking produced quantities, meeting of quality specifications,
and etc.). Coordinate facility Quality Control Program.Direct the
clerical and administrative support functions of the facility,
ensuring the timely, accurate, and thorough completion of a variety
of facility documents and ensuring personnel records are handled in
a confidential manner.Oversee the maintenance and security of the
building, keeping preventative maintenance schedules and securing
emergency repairs. Liaison effectively with Envisions Building and
Maintenance department. Obtain bids and make proposals periodically
regarding building and/or security projects. Ensure the cleanliness
and the pleasant presentation of the building.Promote a healthy and
safe facility. Monitor activities of the Health & Safety committee
to ensure compliance with requirements and to ensure the needs of
program are addressed. Maintain and control facility expenses in
accordance with budget(s).Maintain professional and constructive
communication with clients, families/caregivers, agency staff,
other service providers, vendors, and other stakeholders.Keep
supervisor informed of unusual facility problems and activities.
Prepare and complete a variety of ongoing facility reports
including but not limited to Monthly Management Reports, Monthly
Incident Analysis, Quarterly Consumer Satisfaction Survey
Summaries, Quarterly Preventative Maintenance Reports, Quarterly
Program Outcome Management Reports, Quarterly Case Record Review
Responses, and Quarterly Quality Assurance Corrective Action
Reports. Complete special reports and/or projects upon request
and/or upon identification of need. Attend and participate in
agency and/or division-wide meetings. Provide input and suggestions
for division policies and protocols and assist in resolving
difficult facility, division, and agency issues.Chair, participate
in, and/or send a delegate to a variety of ongoing (Case Records
Review, Quality Assurance, Behavior Management, Network) committees
and/or task oriented committees.Other Responsibilities:Keep abreast
of changes and developments in the profession and the field.Be
proficient in QuantumParticipate in community activities and
develop effective community relations.Assist in marketing services
to external entities.Increase 31C billing %, meet program goals in
Adventures, Expeditions and Neighbors. Perform other related
responsibilities as assigned.Requirements: RequirementsBachelor's
Degree from an accredited college or university in rehabilitation
counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, special education
or related human service field. Master's Degree preferred. Must
meet or be able to complete the qualifications of a QIDP and be
able to complete the requirements for placement on the State of
Illinois Direct Support Persons Registry. Minimum of five years
related experience with two years in a supervisory role
