This position is a director-level position in the Firm.Must have experience:Writing RFPs which is a huge component of this role. They are looking for someone that can assess their current RFP process, help come up with a better structure for handling RFPs, analyze metrics, address RFP needs of their clients, and can come in and help the firm be competitiveContent CreationPartnering the right clients with the right partnersResearchBusiness Development: One of the major areas of focus for this position will be on helping the attorneys achieve their business development goals. Whether it's overseeing the creation of marketing materials or helping make connections and deepen relationships, your contributions to this part of the Firm are vital. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Thinking strategically about new business development initiatives and facilitating discussions among the attorneys about growing and developing the practice
  • Supporting attorneys by promoting and executing a measurable client feedback program, including liaising with clients and referral sources to obtain productive feedback and actionable market intelligence.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or JD preferred.
    • Marketing: at least six years' prior experience (leadership position preferred)
    • Previous experience in business development role (preferably in a professional services organization)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Understanding of law firm operations and culture or willingness to learn
    • Ability to establish professional business contacts and maximize networking skills
    • Self-starter with a high degree of personal initiative
    • Team player who can interact effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization- internally and externally
