DescriptionThe Assistant Director, Health and Wellness, LPN will support the Director, Health & Wellness with the supervision and training of the Care team. Assist with the developmentofservice plansto ensure residents receive elevated care based on their individualized needs. • Assist with the developmentofservice plansfor each resident, being attentive to each resident as an individual and in accordance with the state assisted living regulations. -
• Continuously assess and evaluatethe progress and effectiveness of resident service plans. Communicate and document changes in needs.
• Coordinate support services, social services, and restorative services to adjust Care services.
• Assist with floor coverage as needed. Provide assistance with medication administration, treatments, and providing care as needed. Actively participate in recruiting, retention and development of the Care team.
• Supporttraining programs and in-services for all employees in accordance with the state assisted living regulations.
• Assist in the marketing of the assisted living community by engaging in prospective resident tours, public relations events and potential resident referral sources.
• Observe community policies and procedures regarding resident and team member safety, attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, and resident service. -
• Maintain professionalism and resident confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to all Infection Prevention, OSHA, fire and safety regulations at all times, to ensure the safety and well-being of all community residents.
• Perform all other duties as requested.Education Requirements:
  • Must possess current Licensed Practical Nurse designation as granted by State Board of Nursing.
  • Fulfill and maintain continuing education credits as required by state.
  • Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's, rehabilitative, or geriatric nursing is preferred.*To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and team members, Artis Senior Living requires all team members be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon their start date.*
