for our business. - - -As a Cyber Product Manager supporting the
Data Protection Service Area, you will be accountable for
contributing to and delivering upon the strategic agenda for
Cryptographic Services to drive meaningful progress for our
customers and our business. In this capacity, you will drive
product vision into our development teams, translate vision into
delivery objectives, provide customer-informed guidance to shape
products, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver
well-managed and sustainable features that bring that vision to
life. You will use your deep technical knowledge and subject matter
expertise in cybersecurity and systems engineering to drive
impactful improvements to our cyber capabilities. - - -What you'll
do---
- -Develop and guide the strategy, vision and roadmap for
Enterprise Cryptographic services and solutions, which includes
Encryption, and Key & Certificate Management, in partnership with
engineering partners, customers, and other stakeholders
- Analyze threat, risk, and viability of cryptographic
implementations across the tech stack - disk, volume,
storage/databases, app-level, file-level, field-level, and portable
devices
- Analyze threat, risk, and viability of various Cryptographic
implementations across key IaaS, and SaaS providers engaged by
CapitalOne - - -
- Explore effectiveness and value of new Encryption, Key &
Certificate Management technologies
- Provide subject matter expertise to shape the Cryptographic
Standards, Policies, and Procedures
- Communicate the delivery roadmap to our technology teams by
inspiring the team through the product vision -
- Clearly articulate and advocate target persona, customer
benefit, and value of features across teams
- Leverage technical knowledge and skills on how systems work and
how code is built to effectively support engineering teams in
delivering value
- Utilize strong cybersecurity background and customer research
and insights to represent the voice of the customer to the
engineering team(s)
- Facilitate build vs. buy decisions to identify optimal
strategies for addressing business and technology risks
- Develop and lead RFI/RFPs to assess the market and/or procure
effective cyber solutions
- Maintain close ties to various stakeholders, developers, and
engineers across the company, ensuring the services we create meet
their needs as products evolve
- Continuously engage with customers to seek and apply
feedback
- Advise executive decision makers based on business and
technology risk grounded in threat
- Maintain technical and risk credibility with your own team and
with engineering partners across the enterprise -
- Iterate quickly and see the products through to production and
scale
- Establish product value propositions, metrics, and key
indicators -
- Recruit, motivate, mentor, and lead talent to be their best

- You are passionate about protecting data confidentiality
- You have deep experience in Encryption, Key & Certificate
Management either as a Product Manager, Architect, or as an
Engineer
- You understand important cryptographic algorithms,
protocols,and implementations well
- You have experience in Data at Rest and Data in Transit
Encryption methods either as a Product Manager, Architect, or as an
Engineer
- You are familiar about transition process to Post-Quantum
Cryptography algorithms and can steer the organization
- You have strong consulting and analytical skills
- You have the ability to foster collaborative, open, working
relationships with technology groups and other stakeholders,
including vendor relationships -
- You have demonstrated clear communication skills and ability to
interact effectively at multiple levels of an organization, and to
influence leadership (Including translating technical information
based on specific audiences)
- You have experience working in and/or managing multiple
high-visibility and high-impact enterprise cybersecurity projects
with cross-functional teams while maintaining superior results
including planning, development and management of technical
requirements, design, testing and deployment of security
solutions
- You have passion and expertise in data protection, data
governance, data loss prevention, content detection, CASB, or other
relevant cybersecurity capabilities. -Capital One is open to hiring

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 8 years of experience working in cybersecurity or
information technology
- At least 5 years of experience translating cybersecurity
strategy and analysis into product requirements -Preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in Cryptographic Services like
Encryption, Key and Certificate Management
- 3+ years of experience in Agile product management
- 2+ years of experience in public cloud security and multi-cloud
environments
- Experience in regulated financial services organizations
- Professional certifications: AWS Security, CISSP, GIAC, CISM,
CCSP, CISA, CRISC, SAFe Product ManagementAt this time, Capital One

this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this
salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work
within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One
is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for
part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number
of hours to be regularly worked.Location is New York City: $230,100
- $262,700 for Sr Manager, Cyber TechnicalLocation is San
Francisco, California: $243,800 - $278,200 for Sr Manager, Cyber
TechnicalRemote roles in other areas of New York & California, and
across Colorado & Washington: $195,000 - $222,600 for Sr Manager,
Cyber TechnicalCandidates hired to work in other locations will be
subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the
actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the
time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer
letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based
incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or
long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or
