JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced coding manager to oversee a dynamic team at a growing hospital in the Chicago suburbs. Responsible for overseeing all coding functions within the facility. Conducts performance reviews. Monitors coding accuracy. Ensures optimal workflow to facilitate productivity. Trains coding personnel. Maintains unbilled accounts due to coding at acceptable levels. Performs coding functions as necessary on the inpatient side but will primarily be responsible for building and managing the inpatient coding team. Responsible for managing the vendor relationships on the outpatient side and reporting to upper management.

REQUIREMENTS:

CCS or RHIT or RHIA

At least 3 years coding experience with both inpatient and outpatient, at least 2 years management experience.
