We offer a challenging environment and seek intelligent, energetic, and self-motivated individuals who are achievement-oriented and have high integrity. -Position SummaryThe Marketing Conference/Project -Manager (the "Manager") is a key member of the firm's onsite Marketing team, reporting directly to the Executive Director, Marketing. The Manager is responsible for the planning, budgeting, logistical coordination, execution, transactional processing, and reporting associated with external and conferences and events as well as managing initiatives between the Marketing and Business Development teams. The Manager directly handles pre-conference, onsite and post-conference logistics, including setting up and ensuring coverage at GG+A booths, hosted events, speaker needs, managing contact lists, identifying, and capturing leads, collaborating on follow-up activities, etc.The Manager will be passionate about the mission of the firm, live the core values established by leadership, and support a high-performance culture that engages, motivates and focuses the firm's consulting talent in pursuit of profitable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Demonstrate the mission, vision, values, and culture principles of GG+A - Closely collaborate -with Practice Area Leaders (PALs)/conference owners to identify and document specific goals, objectives and plans for each conference, including pre-conference outreach and post-conference follow-up.Maintain -and assist -in the design and development of marketing collateralMonitor -and order -supplies to create a comprehensive inventory of printed material, branded items and related marketing collateral for all conferences/eventsTrack -and manage -conference sponsorship opportunities to optimize our investmentManage -registration of conference attendees and associated budgets/expensesIdentify, secure -and coordinate -speaking opportunities at conferences, assist -speakers with preparation and delivery of presentations/speeches, ensure -compliance with conference requirements/deadlines, and optimize -the GG+A brand imageObtain -required permissions for logos, images, quotes, and other third-party content for use in the firm's marketing collateral at conferencesAttend conferences and responsible for sending materials in advance, setting up booths, managing lists of GG+A participants and target attendees, and coordinating post-conference follow- up activitiesGather -competitive intelligence and work -with consultants to report data/metrics from each conference highlighting ROI and effectivenessCoordinate -logistics for GG+A hosted events; i.e. networking/market sector breakfasts, staff conferences, client conferences, Advancement Leadership Forum (ALF) meetings, etc.. Collaborate -with GG+A's social media manager to strategically communicate and build awareness to maximize participation at eventsMaintain -a master calendar for all conference/event deadlines and activities ensuring events is up-to-date in the Marketing Calendar Project manage initiatives within the Marketing and Business Development departments Travel to conferences/events requiredSkills and Abilities Communication

    Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required, preferably in marketing, communications, or similar discipline3-5 years of conference/event coordination experienceExperience with a professional services firm and/or the nonprofit domain is preferredFunctional domain knowledge; i.e. understanding of advancement, development and fundraising business models, decision makers and spending cyclesProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookMotivated self-starter with the desire to learn more about the nonprofit sector and help our clients advance their missionsPhysical and Travel Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
