The Account Director is responsible for developing and fostering relationships with community organizations to focus on program growth.Position Responsibilities:

  • Must reside within Chicago city limits
  • Planning execution of all activities in SOW
  • Coordinates and implements strategies for supporting the teams' delivery of services to customers across multiple servicing functions
  • Serves at the project lead and communication link between the client and the company
  • Develops and delivers reports and modifies schedules or plans as required
  • Leads a diverse group of remote and local staff to implement the client's initiatives and provide services required to ensure saturation and effectiveness
  • Monitors the performance of the program and related activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness
  • Establishes goals and objectives for all resources and ensures those goals are met, including team member performance
  • Develops an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Provides feedback and coaching to staff to meet desired performance outcomes
  • Builds positive relationships within the team, community, and resource groups
  • Provides leadership in the development and preparation of reports to document impact and progress
  • Ensures that project goals and objectives are defined and accomplished according to client's stated goals
  • Provides leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project and confers with client project leadership team to ensure project alignment
  • Ensures staff create, maintain, and submit all necessary documentation within the assigned time frames
  • Demonstrated success partnering with and influencing team and senior leadership
  • Coordinates arrangements for statewide training-schedule trainers, locations, food, etc.
  • Maintains the project's information in the management system
  • Meets with stakeholders on a regular basis to provide project updates and share relevant information
  • Reviews data and information and prepares information materials for briefing and review sessionsRequirements:Minimum requirements:
    • BS in Health Care Administration, Management, Public Health, and/or directly related - Master's Degree preferred
    • 5 -7 years of experience in building coalitions or community partnerships, sales, customer relations and community/stakeholder involvement in the healthcare and/or insurance industry with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
    • Proven experience managing a team
    • Significant leadership experience
    • Excellent planning and leadership abilities
    • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
    • Ability to analyze data on a consistent basis to determine successes and areas for improvement; create related program improvement plans
    • Report program metrics, operations data, and pertinent program data to the Client and team members
    • Extensive experience in contracting, provider or client relations
    • Demonstrated abilities with successful project management skills
    • Extensive knowledge of and experience with project management preferably in the healthcare and/or insurance industry.
    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
    • Ability to create spreadsheets/databases/presentations
    • Intermediate knowledge of and experience with Micro Soft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Database such as Access and/or Salesforce
    • Previous experience working with creating and managing dashboards
    • Ability to be proactive and organized
    • Demonstrated success partnering with and influencing team and senior leadership
    • Ability to work with individuals from diverse ethnicity, socio-economic, management levels
    • Must possess or can obtain a valid driver's licenseCompetencies Required:

      • Team workPhysical Demands/Work Environment:The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. The position also requires periodic travel to meet with client resources and assist with events. The position requires driving which requires the ability to sit for long periods of time. Must have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles. office equipment such as computer, fax, copiers, etc.The work requires frequent communication which requires ability to express self and receive information. Employee must exercise problem solving skills, good judgement and decision-making skills to support staff and the client.Ability to continuously stand or walk. Ability to lift up to 10-25 pounds, occasionally.
