Adorn Bar showcases craft cocktails and a wine list that sparks conversation, all with a lively, convivial vibe beckoning to be discovered. -Our Open Opportunity The Assistant Director of People & Culture is an essential member of the People & Culture and Hotel's leadership team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position. The Assistant Director of People & Culture is responsible for creating and supporting a best in class Employee Experience for our amazing people! This person is responsible for the day to day operations of the People & Culture Team as well as his/her individual responsibilities. - Their will be a heavy focus on recruitment and retention. We are seeking a highly strategic and goal oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced, high expectations environment. Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Insert additional description on leadership role here. Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Ideal candidates will have three to five years previous experience in a related leadership position. -
  • Human Resources or Hospitality Education is preferable, however, not essential if applicants have previous relevant work experience. -
  • Verbal and written command of the English language required.
  • Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Workday HRIS preferred.
  • Understanding of payroll applications, audits and processes in ADP.
  • Working knowledge of Chicago and Illinois Labor laws Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S. Please note that due to the large number of responses we receive, only candidates being considered for the above position will be contacted for an interview.
