About the position
Juniper Go-to-market strategy relies significantly on the expansion and acceleration of our Service Providers routes-to-market, developing both a Resell and a Managed Services Business motions to address targeted Enterprise customer segments.
The SP-Channel Partner Account Manager position (SP-Channel PAM) will be responsible for building and driving Channel Business Plan implemented with one of Juniper Top-Tier Service Provider Channel partners.
This individual is accountable for developing the 2 business motions.
They will be responsible in particular for orchestrating all activities relative to Channel Enablement within the framework of our Juniper Partner Advantage Channel program (JPA). They will conduct Sales Enablement initiatives for sellers, but will also develop a Technical Enablement agenda, plan for Marketing campaigns to jointly address targeted customers in identified verticals, and more generally plan and implement all Partner Development initiatives. Job Purpose/Job Overview:
Reporting to the Service Provider Account Director, the SP-Channel Partner Account Manager will be based in (Europe/US/Canada).
Working in conjunction with the Service Provider Account Team, the SP-Channel/MSP central team, Marketing, Services Resources, and a team of dedicated SP-Channel Sales Engineers, this individual will complete agreed Partner Business Plan to achieve joint business growth goals. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive the channel development strategy.
  • Build an inclusive Channel, Sales and Marketing Business Development plan aligning all contributing functions: SP Account Team, Marketing, Services, Enterprise Sales teams, Channel, SP-Channel Managed Services specialists, Service Creation Technical Architects.
  • Execute against the plan with a permanent balance between short-term in-Quarter priorities and mid/long-term business development initiatives laying the foundations for future scalable and repeatable success.
  • Position end-to-end solutions and articulate Juniper strategies to senior management
  • Implement and monitor life-cycle of relevant Juniper Channel programs for Resell and Managed Services
  • Achieve consistently SP-Channel Sales quarterly and yearly Sales quotas
  • Own or contribute to foundational business routines such as reporting, forecasting, QBR, MDF management, channel rebates management etc---
    Person Specification/Key capabilities, proficiencies and qualifications:

    • Strong experience enabling Channel programs and running go-to-market initiatives with Top-Tier Service Provider partners
    • Deep understanding of business strategy, organization, and way of developing business
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-pace environment
    • Experience in motivating external partners and internal contributors to align on a unified business development strategy
    • Demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers
    • Must have experience developing sales/channel strategies, preparing proposals and presenting networking and security products
    • Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision-makers and influencers and build corresponding mapping plan
    • Fluent in English and (native SP-Channel Partner) language (French, Italian, Spanish)

      Minimum Salary: $211,200.00
      Maximum Salary:$303,600.00
      The pay range for this position is expected to be between $211,200.00 and $303,600.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
      If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
      Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
