The Marketing Manager is responsible to develop, implement, monitor
and evaluate the hotel's marketing and communication strategies
including; advertising, promotions, social media, public relations,
graphics, and collateral to support the marketing objectives for
the hotel and to maximize the hotel's positive exposure in local,
national, and international markets.
Responsibilities include:
Propose and implement property specific marketing and PR strategies
to include, but not limited to maintaining and marketing websites,
leveraging organic and paid social media, and developing hotel
collateral, sales materials and support the marketing of
on-property events.
Lead the development of individual marketing and PR plans
specifically for outlets including restaurants, spa, events
(weddings, catering, etc.) and on-property experiences.
Work closely with Sales, Revenue Management and Food & Beverage
teams to identify opportunities and trends and develop relevant on
& offline strategies
Lead agency management and oversee strategic recommendations for
any outside agencies that are employed by the hotel including PR,
Social and Digital Media.
Work with the Director of Sales, Marketing and Events and creative
agency to develop, coordinate, execute, and maintain a social media
plan including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn and
Instagram .
Work with the Director of Sales, Marketing and Events, Director of
Operations and Leadership Team to create and execute a NoMI
restaurant marketing plan including brand activations, promotional
events and holiday experiences.
Partner with our Hyatt Field Marketing team and above-property
Sales, Marketing, Events and Revenue leaders to align on strategies
and objectives.
Assist in organizing and planning property specific on and off
property events for exposure while working closely with
cross-functional property colleagues .
Maintain and build relationships with new and existing online
influencers for additional content and promotion of guest rooms,
food and beverage outlets and catering events.
Maintaining an analysis of the hotel's key competitors marketing
communications activities and monitor marketing trends, tools and
applications specific to the hotel industry and target
market(s).
Provide copy and design for visual materials for hotel promotions,
PowerPoint presentations, invitations, sales proposals, websites,
social media, printed collateral and property guest/internal
communications and ensure all are within brand standards .
Develop local brand partnerships to help drive awareness and
enhance overall guest experience .
Monitor, coordinate and respond to reputation management channels
such as online travel-related review sites (Trip Advisor, Yelp!,
Google, etc.) to generate positive exposure .
Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting of agency
productivity, efforts and successes.
Assist Director of Sales, Marketing and Events and leadership in
crisis management coordination and external communication.
Any other tasks as assigned by Director of Sales, Marketing &
Events or General Manager
Salary
Salary range for this position is $60,100 - $87,000. Actual pay
will be commensurate with experience.
