Job Description:

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager in Chicago to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities by demonstrating consultative selling, managing customers through the sales cycle, and leveraging networks. All the work you do is focused on energy efficiency and sustainaiblity. -This position is remote and involves travel in your region, and is part of a great team. If you have experience working with school districts, higher education, healthcare, or federal, state, or local government decision makers, you could be a great fit. -This role has a six-figure base salary and full benefits including 3 weeks of vacation, 401K + match, insurance, etc. If you hit your sales goals, your commission will easily double your salary. -Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase market share
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and leveraging existing relationships
• Conduct consultative selling to showcase the benefits of our complex integrated solutions
• Manage a long sales cycle by building strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders
• Utilize a solutions-based selling approach to tailor proposals to the specific needs of each customer
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of new business opportunities
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscapeRequirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of -sales -experience
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong network of contacts -

  • Understanding of government procurement a plus -
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
