Role Description: We are seeking an innovative Manager, Accounting to support our continually growing Accounting & Finance team. The Manager, Accounting will be instrumental in helping set up processes, create efficiencies, and the professional development of all reports within the department to position itself for exponential growth in the coming years. Leading and developing a diverse team in the areas of AP, AR, Cash, Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Accruals, T&E, flux analysis, and special projects Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the monthly accounting close process. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting policies and processes. Ensuring accounting internal controls are operating effectively and as designed. Supporting the timely and accurate preparation of certain GAAP and statutory basis reports and disclosures. Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending efficient process or system alternatives, and facilitating the implementation of process or system changes. Facilitating employee training and professional development of all direct reports. Overseeing the implementation of new business as it relates to the accounting functions. Supporting the external/internal audit request process as it relates to Accounting. Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary. What you'll bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. CPA is strongly encouraged. 5-10 years of accounting experience. Solid knowledge of US GAAP - Advanced Excel skills required, including VLOOKUP's, SUMIF's and Pivot Tables. Excellent communication and organization skills. Expertise in accrual accounting methods. Skilled in performing accounting procedures; preparing and maintaining accurate records; compiling & preparing financial reports. Ability to complete and review Financial flux analysis Experience with Netsuite Accounting system is a plus. Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
