of them.About the Role:As the Sanitation Manager, you will develop,
implement and continuously improve on sanitation programs, policies
and key performance indicators for the facility. You will interface
with all levels of plant in communication, training and
facilitating compliance with federally mandated regulations, such
as FDA and EPA. The Sanitation Manager will report into the Quality
and Food Safety Manager.Main Responsibilities:Accountable for
holistic plant sanitation program direction and results for plant,
warehouse and plant grounds.Responsible for compliance with all
local, state and federal regulations. --Adhere to and administer
company policies and procedures.Ensures compliance with all food
safety policies and procedures. --Ensures plant is in proper
sanitary condition at all times, including allergen control and
pest control. --Engages the plant management team in sanitation
challenges requiring cross-functional support.--Evaluates facility
sanitary conditions visually and analytically, assesses risk based
on food safety and public health principles and prioritizes
corrective actions.--Troubleshoots persistent sanitation issues to
identify deficiencies in sanitation program or facility / equipment
design.--Sets the direction for ongoing sanitation verification
activities and validation testing.--Maintains and updates master
cleaning schedule for plant meeting GMP and Ferrero
guidelines.Maintains and writes detailed clean up procedures and
SSOP's for all plant equipment.--Audits against the consistent
application and execution of SSOP's and all related sanitation
practices.Conducts clean up inspections and verification
/validations of sanitation and allergen cleanings using swabs
and/or samples collected for analysis.Member of the HACCP Team
(Multidisciplinary management committee designated to address food
safety in plant). --Coordinate and prepare plant for internal and
third party audits.Works with plant and corporate engineering,
equipment manufacturers, and chemical suppliers, directs the
effective implementation of CIP and COP systems where appropriate
for the application.Directs Pest Control Operators and Dust Control
Operators to assure compliance to all regulations. (Pesticides,
Clean Air Act-Title V, etc).Ensures all safety requirements related
to sanitation are met including proper chemical storage, MSDS,
PPE's and procedures.Contributes to and may coordinate mandated
plant wide Food Safety and GMP training to all employees in
plant.--Who we are looking for:Bachelor's degree preferred or
equivalent experience with sanitation and leadership.Understands
and can apply basic microbiological principles. In depth food borne
pathogen knowledge.--Knowledge of HACCP and Sanitation
principles.5+ years of plant food safety / sanitation experience.
Supervisory experience required.Thorough knowledge and experience
with diverse sanitizing applications.--Effective written and oral
communication skills.Knowledge of food laws, U.S., and
international standards and regulations.Knowledge and experience
working with both COP and CIP operations.Knowledge of MS Word,
