team!Overview:Through a consistent and constructive process, the
New Development Channel Manager will collaborate and support their
Regional Sales Zone to drive and generate the New Development
pipeline growth in Multifamily & Commercial Channel revenue for the
regions working closely with the Commercial BDMs. -This is a
centrally focused role that acts as resource and support for the
Regional Sales Team in building custom programs for channel
customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Act as central point person for assigned Sales zones in
developing the framework and presentation of the managed program
for key customers.
- Act as expert resource for Regional Sales Team in conducting
presentations and guiding customer through the program concept,
deliverables, and expectations.
- Participate in meetings (in person or virtual) with potential
large and/or strategic customers.
- Conduct ongoing virtual training sessions to educate
participating CS Connect Program and Fabricators on systems and
processes.
- Work with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in developing plan for
Multifamily & Commercial in the region execution.
- Identify and establish relationships with Top Developers, to
Build and qualify pipelines for future projects
- Collaborate with Regional Commercial BDMs on pipeline to plan
for execution
- Monitor Salesforce activity for Regional Zone Specifications
and Wins in multifamily & commercial channel (SF opportunities,
building pipelines, follow up system etc.)
- Provide training and support as needed
- Other duties as assigned.Requirements - Minimum of 5 years
working experience in a commercial B2B role in building materials
- Demonstrated experience working with frontline customers (i.e.
architect and design firms, general contractors, and
developers)
- Strong influencing skills, with a consistent track record of
successfully closing deals with little to no supervision
- Skilled at tailoring a pitch, value proposition and partnership
approach to a wide variety of personas from tech-startups to large,
public companies
- Have a depth of knowledge in evaluation, business case
creation, deal modeling, negotiating and closing complex, lasting
contractual agreements
- Have a breadth of knowledge across marketing, commerce
technology and surface level technical product discussions
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate efforts
across a large organization both internally and externally
- A genuine teammate, demonstrating positive attitude and finding
internal ways to collaborate to ensure individual and group
success
- Proficient in MS-Office applications such as Excel and Power
Point; experience with SalesForce CRM a plus
- Dependable and team oriented with the ability to work
independently
- Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and
projecting a positive company image to the public
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; analytical
mindset
- Creative and coachable with a solutions-based disposition
- Must possess a valid state driver license -RequirementsWORKING
CONDITIONS:
- Work requires significant local travel to current and potential
clients. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional
overnight travel for customer visits
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and
peripherals
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
