Role:The Engineer Manager will support the Franklin Park plant
through leadership of the end-to-end technical process,
ensuring/facilitating the design and execution of investment
projects starting from the business case up to the startup of the
new manufacturing lines, equipment, and any other assets under
operations responsibility.This role will also include ensuring
feasibility studies, developments, engineering of plant/machineries
and technical knowledge (with bottom-up and top-down approaches)
including external relations with contractors and Authorities,
contributing to capex Budget, mid and long term strategic
development guaranteeing full consistency with the factory
Masterplan.----Main Responsibilities:Design------- --Drive the
design and innovation know-how of the plants, evaluate technical
requests, and propose solutions in collaboration with Ferrero
Central Functions, verify the correct application of engineering
principles and the technical specifications of new and existing
equipment, collaborate with maintenance department to implement
Design for Maintenance and Total Cost of Ownership.Project
Management--------- --Take full responsibility of the project team
for end-to-end project life, guarantee proper involvement of all
the relevant functions to define scope, specifications and timing
of each project, guide Project Engineering and Maintenance Project
Leaders for all investment projects, update the stakeholders
regarding projects status, on a regularly basis with appropriate
KPI's.Plant Technical Certifications------- --Participate in
activities to obtain plant technical Certifications - for example,
UNI, ISO Certifications, plan 3-7 years investments to anticipate
future needs of the Plant to be in line with Group requirements and
North America Industrial Footprint, define technical requirements
for Machines/Plants design for Safety and Quality
compliance.Scouting/evaluation of new suppliers------- --Support
for technical aspects, technical sourcing department in the
scouting and evaluation of new suppliers, participate in technical
activities regarding the preparation of tenders and evaluation of
offers.People Management------- --Provide guidance and direction to
subordinates, including setting performance standards, coach and
mentor employees, define and manage the development plan for each
subordinate, drive a positive safety culture by leading by example,
engaging actively in safety conversations and supporting local
safety programs.Quality/ Food Safety/Environmental------- --Ensure
all program requirements and standards regarding quality and food
safety are implemented, practiced, and maintained. Assist in the
implementation of and conformance to the Environmental Management
System within key process areas.--Who we are looking for:-------
--Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical,
automation), Master's in Engineering a plus------- --A--minimum of
ten years of relevant experience in the food or pharmaceutical
industry------- --Knowledge of product technology, production
methods, manufacturing,----the food sector and ammonia-------
--Knowledge of design of machines and tools, knowledge, and
familiarity with project management principles------- --Working
knowledge of Excel, AutoCAD (3D), MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP, BIM
(Building Information Modelling)------- --Knowledge of local and
International regulations for Machinery and Process------- --People
management experience------- --Ability to travel----How to be
