A tax manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple tax engagements to deliver quality service to our clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement to the right candidate.Responsibilities:Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, corporations, partnerships and exempt organizationsBuild new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of clients' businessTrain staff on tax return preparation, research, and review their workManage multiple clients, budgets and production goalsIdentify and assist with implementation of tax planning and consulting opportunitiesResearch complex tax matters and communicate resultsRespond to IRS and other tax authoritiesRequired Experience/Skills:BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation is a plusCPA6+ years prior tax experience in public accountingSignificant supervisory experience (2 years plus)Experience reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and exempt organizationsStrong accounting and analytical skillsStrong computer skills: proficiency in Tax software, Excel, WordExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsDetail oriented & ability to multi-taskCompensation: A base of $125,000-$175,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefitsE78 Partners is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
