CHAIN OF CUSTODY, PROJECT MANAGERThe HH Global (HHG) Chain of Custody, Project Manager is responsible for successfully implementing custody practices supporting the use of FSC, PEFC, and SFI materials and finished products. This person will work closely with our internal strategic sourcing departments across regions to implement and monitor the use of chain of custody procedures tied to the purchase and use of forest management certifications. This role will work closely with the category managers responsible for imparting direct and indirect supplier strategies across our client universe.This will be a hybrid position based in Chicago, Illinois. This role will require you to be on-site 2-3 days per week, with the ability to work from home the remaining days. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete all activities and tasks with the highest level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organize large sets of data.
• Own the HHG Chain of Custody process with suppliers and client teams.
• Conduct market exercises and help develop supplier models in support of both new and existing accounts.
• Optimize supplier panels ensuring that we the have the right partners and market capacity to serve both existing and future needs of our clients.
• Aid in the selection and identification of most appropriate suppliers for new and existing clients.REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of related experience in transacting commercial print and/or paper products
  • Previous experience with and exposure to FSC and/or environmental audits
  • Intimate understanding of FSC chain of custody standards.
  • Knowledge of the commercial printing & paper market a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office software with a high aptitude in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a love for investigative and data detective work.
  • Independent thinking with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve both personal and collective goals.
