Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Productivity Program
Management you will provide direction on Productivity Projects
including: project planning and implementation using an Agile and
common process across Conagra's Business Segments. Support a team
of cross-functional resources and partners with functional owners
to meet segment productivity/margin improvement
projects.Responsibilities Include:Support the ideation, creation,
advancement and execution of productivity (margin) accretion
projects in your assigned segment for a set of product categories
and plants.Partner with business resources to define, track, and
measure holistic margin management programsProvide project
management for cost improvement efforts for assigned product
groups, ensuring annual target achievement. Participating with and
providing support to plants and other Supply Chain performance
improvement efforts.Guide business simplification efforts for
assigned segment - examples include Active SKU Management,
packaging standardization, and component/specification
consolidation.Manage project budgets, both capital and expense, for
any projects under position's jurisdiction and using Agile
methodology - advance projects through their lifecycle using
Clarizen.Drive urgency to hit established timelines.Guide the
development of sound business cases to justify effort and ensuring
that project efforts achieve intended business benefits.Monitor
Supply Chain KPI's for assigned product groups, providing
improvement plan support to plants/main Supply Chain
functions.Provide other Supply Chain or business initiative support
as assigned.You will engage with:Internal Contacts: Project Leaders
(OBD/OBM), Plants, Transportation and Warehousing, R&D,
Planning, Data Management, Brand Design , Q.A., Engineering,
Finance, Business teams - at all levels in the organizationExternal
Contacts: Suppliers, Contract manufacturersRequirements: BS degree
required; preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or
Finance.3 years previous experience planning, manufacturing,
project management, engineering, operations finance or other
related functions.Exposure to and understanding of multiple Supply
Chain and other business disciplines (Purchasing,
trans/warehousing, RQI, etc.).The ability to handle multiple
projects concurrently.Some exposure to new product
commercialization and startup procedures.A continuous improvement
mindsetExperience managing projects in a manufacturing supply chain
environment.Some exposure to Agile concepts.Ability to travel
