Job Description:

Bathing Brands, a national leader in the distribution, installation, and maintenance of steam and sauna bathing environments, is searching for a Supply Chain Manager.The Supply Chain Manager will coordinate, organize, and oversee all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the Bathing Brands' product and materials. This role oversees purchasing and forecasting efforts while driving cost savings by reviewing vendor pricing and negotiating with vendors for warranty and spare parts. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with acute attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Please note, this is an on-site position with potential for some hybrid work in the future. Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
• Assist the procurement team to source, negotiate, and purchase materials we need to support the sauna and steam markets we serve.
• Understand forecasting needs and metrics for long lead time vendors.
• Negotiate with suppliers and service vendors to control material/product costs, lead times, freight terms, and purchase quantity requirements and ensure product pricing is competitive and achieves desired profitability.
• Follow up on critical purchasing orders to assure delivery objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain tools to improve cycle time and process efficiency within the business.
• Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide qualitative feedback to supply chain regarding performance of suppliers.
• Assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; make recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
• Maintain existing supplier relationships.
• Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality. and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes.Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
