The Vice President (VP), Enterprise Sales is responsible for leading and growing a team responsible for the acquisition of new Enterprise level clients throughout North America. The VP of Enterprise Sales, will work with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and create the business strategy and execute the plan to strengthen existing national and regional relationships. In addition, the VP of Enterprise Sales will meet business development benchmarks and create sustainable revenue growth. You will also spend time thinking critically about key topics including industry trends, products, platforms and client opportunities and sharing best practices with your peers and assigned clients. The Vice President, Enterprise Sales position will report directly to the VP of Sales. Key Accountabilities 1) Drive Sales Oversee the primary activities of senior field sales representatives to maximize sales revenues and attain/exceed corporate objectives in the territory. Work with the team to develop sales plans, strategies, and final presentations designed to enhance revenue growth and meet customer needs. Work with individual salespeople to develop and execute plans to increase penetration within territories. Travel for in-person meetings with customers and to develop key relationships. Actively participate in the sales process for strategic opportunities. 2) Build and inspire a great team Hire, onboard and train top sales talent Ongoing development of the sales team, which includes recruiting, hiring and training new reps on the Company sales process. Be a role model and drive the Company's culture. Assess the team quality, driving staff adjustments based on performance and future potential, ensuring the team evolves to a high performing one. Ensure the company's sales processes are clearly understood and followed to ensure success. Remain knowledgeable of Company products and services, as well as competitors and threats within accounts that need to be overcome, in order to advance and facilitate your team’s sales efforts. Acquire and integrate industry knowledge and insight related to general trends, methodologies, emerging technologies and competitors. 3) Serve as a Voice of the Field Provide regular sales forecasts to sales leadership in an agreed format, providing detailed insight into the team performance using agreed tools such as SFDC. Be a positive force and a strong team member working closely with internal and external partners as necessary. Requirements and Preferred Skills Education and Professional Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent training in business or sales management Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience selling enterprise application software (SaaS) solutions Minimum 5 years of experience managing enterprise application software (SaaS) representatives A proven track record of building & motivating teams, as well as increasing the individual revenue capacity of the team members Managing remote sales teams a plus Demonstrable revenue generation performance, consistently achieving or over-achieving quota in Fortune 100 to Fortune 1000 focused environments.. Proven experience in driving sales process discipline: pipeline building through forecasting and delivering results. Strategic account planning and execution skills Strong technical, financial and business acumen Commitment to long-term customer success Strong operational rigor and time management skills Ability to sell to C-suite and executive presence Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Travel: Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight trips
