Physician Assistants will work at our OSFLCM site providing patient care.Job responsibilities include but not limited to managing the care of patients within assigned area and/or area of expertise within the parameters of medical staff privileges. Will work collaboratively with other providers in the care of patients.Provide education to patients, families, and significant others using established educationIntegrate evidence-based knowledge and clinical expertise in decision-making.Assist with scheduling of patients for upcoming procedures including coordinating with other services (divisions/departments) and completion of necessary documentation, scheduling forms & clearance.Act as a resource for clinical staff in the practice setting. Participates in the educational experience of learners.Lead multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated delivery of patient care services Qualifications:PA experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent care setting preferred. All physician assistants caring for children in the emergency department and fast track/urgent care area shall have documentation of a minimum of 16 hours of continuing education in pediatric emergency topics every two years that are approved by an accrediting agency preferredA minimum of 2 years, experience preferred. Experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care preferred. A minimum of 2 years, experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred.For fullest consideration, resumes should be received by September 28, 2022.
