Job Description:
Northwestern University s Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking
a full-time clinical psychologist to join the multidisciplinary
faculty of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Responsibilities will largely be providing evidenced-based care
(e.g., exposure therapy, habit reversal training) for outpatients
with OC-spectrum and Anxiety Disorders in our academic medical
center, although expertise in providing evidence-based therapies
for other psychiatric disorders is expected. This individual will
also (a) provide supervision and training in CBT to students in
Northwestern s PhD program and clinical psychology internship as
well as psychiatric residents, and (b) have opportunities to
contribute to some of the many research programs in the department
(and Northwestern at large). This individual should have a clinical
background in an outpatient setting and should have a Doctorate in
Psychology from an APA-accredited or PCSAS-accredited program with
an APA approved Internship and be license eligible in Illinois. The
candidate will join a rich, collaborative environment with other
clinicians and scientists in the Feinberg School of Medicine and
throughout the University. This position will be a full-time
continuing appointment with the rank of Instructor or Assistant
Professor in the non-tenure track. Salary will be commensurate with
experience.
