Job Description School Psychologist 2023-2024 School Year Under the
direction of the school administration and case manager, the School
Psychologist assists students by screening for early intervention
and identification as well as administering diagnostic and
curriculum-based assessments as a member of multidisciplinary
teams. The School Psychologist also provides crisis intervention as
well as individual and group intervention services supporting
mental health issues for students, school personnel, and
community/family members. Psychologist Essential Duties:Perform
psycho-educational assessment of K-5 students.Recommend
developmentally appropriate services and strategies to assist in
improving student learning.Participate in crisis management by
counseling and/or making referrals.Counsel students and family
members (in groups and individually) and consult with staff in the
development of appropriate behavior goals.Interpret test data and
present data analysis to families and staff where needed.Research
available tests necessary to meet individual school needs.Provide
in-service training as needed. Minimum Qualifications:Master's
degree in School Psychology.Valid Type 73 Illinois School Service
Personnel Certificate with an endorsement in School
Psychology.Exceptional communication skills and a passion and
talent for building relationships. Preferred
Qualifications:Nationally Certified School Psychologist.ADOS
Certification.3+ years of experience in a school-based
setting.Experience working with culturally diverse populations. Who
