# Manager of Med Surg, Chief Nursing Officer Position Status:
Full-time Direct Reports: N/A Work Location: on-site Position
Purpose: The Licensed Practical Nurse, provides quality patient
care utilizing the nursing process under the direct supervision of
a Registered Nurse and or Licensed Physician. Essential
Duties#(list in order of importance including measures)
Participates in assessment/reassessments of patient(s) by
observing, collecting, recording and reporting objective and
subjective data in an accurate and timely manner. Reports the
condition and/ or change in condition of the patient(s) as well as
signs and symptoms that deviate from normal health status.# 10%
Assists in developing the nursing plan of care.# 10% Assists in
implementing the nursing plan of care within the concepts of the
Licensed Practical Nurse curriculum with consideration for safety
in practice; according to established prioritization of needs;
documenting and communicating nursing interventions and responses
of patient(s) to care.# 60% Assists in evaluating patient(s)
responses; document and communicate evaluation data to appropriate
health care team members; contributes to the modification of the
nursing plan of care on the based on ongoing evaluation of the
patient(s).# 10% Collaborates with team members by sharing revelent
information; demonstrating initiative, and supporting team
decisions and the work life of the department.# 5% Performs other
related duties as assigned within scope of practice after
demonstrating required competencies or completing requisite

time necessary for proficiency, required to perform the job.)
Computer keyboarding Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
Active BLS (All Units) IV certification (preferred) Bilingual
English/Spanish (preferred) Active LPN Full vaccination against
Covid-19 required Current vaccination against the flu required

Position Summary
* REPORTS TO: Supervisor & Manager of Med Surg, Chief Nursing
Officer
* Position Status: Full-time

* Work Location: on-site
