Job Description:

Our Clinical Educator role would see you delivering training and education to healthcare professionals on a monitoring medical device primarily used within the NICU. Your primary focus will be in-servicing and education only; there are no sales responsibilities, and this position is a great opportunity to make an impact in healthcare and improve patient outcomes through education for healthcare professionals.

* Flexible per-diem position requiring travel to assigned facility(s)
* Work -3-10 hours per month; this role is flexible to fit into existing FT, PRN or PT schedules
* Appropriate PPE is provided to all employees prior to the start of assignments

Responsibilities:

* Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device
* Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience
* Support product clinical use amongst hospital staff
* Utilize clinical nursing/RT expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device
* Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client
* Administrative tasks as required

Job Requirements - Experience:

Respiratory Therapist (RT)

* Active RRT license required
* 2-3+ years' experience in a Level III or IV NICU required, plus an additional 2-3 years' experience in any unit required. 4 years total RT experience minimum requirement.

OR

Registered Nurse (RN - ICU)

* Active Registered Nurse license required
* 2-3+ years' experience in a Level III or IV NICU required, plus an additional 2-3 years' experience in any unit required. 4 years total RN experience minimum requirement.

Equivalent experience for RNs or RTs as a clinical educator supporting similar NICU medical devices will be considered.

AND

Job Requirements - Additional:

* Prior applicable neonatal airway monitoring device experience strongly preferred
* Strong professional acumen as a brand representative
* Must be comfortable presenting to and training small or large groups
* Ability to effectively collect and document feedback
* Ability to travel locally to the assigned customer facility
* Must be comfortable with basic software programs
* Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor, committee participation) can be helpful but is not required

Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.

The starting pay range for this per diem role is $40.00 - $50.00. The actual pay will vary based on factors like candidate qualifications and competencies.
