• This is a paid internship that is part time, requiring 15-20 hours per week.
• Participation in the internship requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location (onsite at University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign Lab or University of Maryland - College Park Lab), in accordance with Capital One's , for the duration of the program.Basic Qualifications
  • Current student of, and will be actively enrolled in the same course of study through the full duration of the program at the University of Maryland - College Park; University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with an expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program by August 2026 or earlier -
  • At least 1 year of experience with PythonPreferred Qualifications
    • Currently earning a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field of study
    • At least 1 year of experience with machine learning and various subfields (deep learning, Graph ML, NLP, explainability, etc.)
    • At least 1 year of experience with relational databases
    • At least 1 year of experience with large scale data analytics
    • At least 1 year of experience with AWS
    • Demonstrated experience in contributing to open source projects and proficient use of Git/GitHub
