Standard shift: Nights
Weekly schedule: 3x12
Schedule Notes: 07:30 PM - 07:00 AM works every other weekend, every other holiday - with scheduling a must - no block schedules.
Description:
The ideal candidate will assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory disorders by administering respiratory therapy treatments and performing diagnostic procedures.
This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
Licensing/Certification:
Active Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license or eligibility to obtain
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
NRP / Neonatal experience required as the department has SCN.
