Job Description:
Summary:
The competent Nurse practices independently within a clinical
setting, providing routine and complex care while managing
long-term goals and contingencies. Demonstrates awareness of all
relevant aspects of patient situations and delegates appropriately
to care team members. Meets core competencies related to
self-leadership and team leadership. Utilizes the nursing process
(assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) to
deliver patient care aligned with ANA standards. Addresses
psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients
and families. Administers medications and treatments per protocols,
monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Documents patient
information accurately. Assesses learning needs and provides
education to patients and families. Requires a BSN, at least 1 year
of related experience preferred, BLS certification, and RN license
in the state or compact. Position is per diem as needed.
