About The Position We are seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity starts on Oct 20, 2025, and runs for 45 days, with a set schedule of 20 hours per week across mornings and early afternoons, Monday through Thursday. Candidates must have recent occupational health experience and hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Job Details - Location: Illinois - Start Date: Oct 20, 2025 - LOA: 45 days - Provider Type Needed: Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: - Monday: 6am–10am - Tuesday: 10am–2:30pm - Wednesday: 6am–10am - Thursday: 6am–10am and 10:30am–2:30pm - 20 hours per week only, no exceptions Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive occupational medicine services - Manage patient care in accordance with best practices in occupational health - Conduct assessments, examinations, and follow-ups for work-related health concerns - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support workplace health and safety - Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation - Adhere to all relevant regulatory and clinical standards Additional Information - Must have a valid nurse practitioner license in Illinois and Iowa - Board certification in Occupational Medicine required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Recent occupational health experience required Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
