Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in Illinois with required IL RN license and strong EKG skills. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a Telemetry unit within a hospital setting - Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 - Patient ratio is 1:6 - Every other weekend is required - Floating to other units may be required - Must be familiar with Epic charting system - Care for patients with chronic vents and cardiac monitoring needs - Responsibilities include assessing acute patient changes and managing cardiac drips - First time travelers are accepted - Maximum of 7 days requested time off will be considered /n /n Requirements/n - Active IL RN license is required at the time of consideration - Minimum of 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience - Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required - Competency in EKG rhythm strip interpretation required; must pass EKG strip test at orientation - Experience in initiating and maintaining cardiac drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, and cardizem preferred - Must not reside within 75 miles of the facility /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-655947.
