be considered. This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with
certification as a School Nurse to support the health and
well-being of students in an elementary school setting in Chicago,
IL. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY),
providing essential healthcare services in a dynamic educational
environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing
care and health assessments to students. Administer medications and
treatments in compliance with school policies and medical
guidelines. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare
providers to manage chronic conditions and emergencies. Maintain
accurate health records and documentation. Promote health education
and preventive care within the school community. Follow protocols
for communicable disease management and emergency response.
Qualifications and Experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license. Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) strongly preferred.
Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting.
Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and
school personnel. Knowledge of common childhood illnesses,
medications, and emergency procedures. Strong organizational and
documentation skills. Location: Elementary school in Chicago,
