Speech Language Pathologist Location: South Bend, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,506 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: State License required Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP required Must-Have: Pending license acceptable, must obtain license by start date. Description: Position available for Speech Language Pathologist. Start date is as soon as possible. Shift is 5 days a week, 8 hours per day. Call requirements include 4 hours on call during scheduled weekends. Weekend requirements include working every other Saturday for 8 hours, with on-call hours on Sunday. Flex time is provided the week before scheduled weekends. Travelers will float between inpatient rehab and acute care settings. Holiday pickups are optional and paid at time and a half. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Charting is done using a specific system. It is essential to have previous experience with bedside swallow evaluation and various speech therapy techniques. Candidates should be knowledgeable in managing dysphagia and other communication disorders. Additional skills in conducting modified barium swallow studies and understanding cognitive-communication disorders are necessary. The work involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Travelers must comply with all medical requirements such as vaccinations. Conduct issues will result in immediate contract termination if applicable. The maximum amount of requests for time off is limited to 10 days. Candidates will need to float within the designated healthcare facilities depending on census and volume. This position requires completion of training modules prior to the assignment. All certifications must be completed before the start date. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
