Full-Time Body Imaging Radiologist Needed Near South Holland, IL Are you an experienced Body Imaging Radiologist seeking a Full-Time opportunity near South Holland, IL? We have an exciting locum tenens position available, starting as soon as you are credentialed. Practice Overview Reason for Coverage: Need coverage until a permanent provider is found Practice Setting: Hospital, Reading for all sites, with on-site work at LUMC, open to remote reading Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p; No call or weekends Average Cases per Day: Variable depending on rotation, 35-40 CT, or equivalent mixture as directed by the section chief Imaging Modalities: X-ray, CT, US, MRI mostly outpatient/non-urgent Procedures: None required Trauma Level: I EMR: Epic, PowerScribe 360, Intelerad PACS, Softek Illuminate Patient Demographics: All ages (Not necessary for locum to read Peds) Credentialing Timeframe: Roughly 60-90 days Submission Requirements Board Certification: ABR or AOBR - Required Active IL License: Required BLS Certification: Required Certification Requirements BLS Certification Board Certified State License Requirements Illinois Job ID: j-198828 Practice Dynamics In this role, you will contribute to a hospital-based practice reading for various sites, including on-site responsibilities at LUMC. The schedule, operating Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, ensures a desirable work-life balance, with no call or weekend duties. Case Load and Imaging Modalities The position offers a diverse and stimulating work environment with a case load of 35-40 CT scans daily. Additionally, you will work with a mix of X-ray, US, and MRI, primarily focused on outpatient/non-urgent cases. The absence of required procedures makes this an ideal opportunity for a Radiologist seeking a diagnostic-focused role. Facility and Technology The facility operates at a trauma level I and utilizes advanced technologies for seamless operations. The EMR systems include Epic, PowerScribe 360, Intelerad PACS, and Softek Illuminate, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in patient care. Patient Demographics and Credentialing Patient demographics cover all age groups, excluding pediatrics for locum coverage. The credentialing process takes approximately 60-90 days.
