Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Radiology Technologist with strong imaging skills, particularly in general radiology and surgery. This contract position requires a minimum of three years experience and certification by ARRT and IEMA. The role involves working in a community-based hospital setting that serves both inpatient and emergency patients. Key Responsibilities: Perform general and surgical radiology imaging procedures accurately and efficiently Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality patient care Adhere to safety protocols and maintain imaging equipment Participate in night call rotation approximately one weekend every six weeks Qualifications: ARRT and IEMA certification required Minimum three years of experience in general radiology and surgery imaging Prior work in a community hospital setting preferred Ability to work scheduled shifts including every other weekend and two weekdays, plus one holiday Comfortable with night call responsibilities Schedule & Hours: Shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm Every other weekend plus two weekday shifts One holiday shift Night call weekends every sixth rotation (11 pm to 7 am) Location:Chicago, Illinois offers a vibrant urban environment rich with cultural attractions, diverse dining options, and numerous parks and lakefront activities.
