Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Illinois Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Illinois Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: On-call 8-10 days per month; weekend rotation TBD Highlights: Work in interventional radiology utilizing minimally invasive radiological technology Diverse case mix including cardiac catheterization, EP ablations, peripheral and cerebral angiograms, and TEE/Cardioversions Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with high-impact, cutting-edge procedures Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary medical teams Cerner EMR experience highly preferred Travel assignment with competitive compensation package Requirements: Active Illinois state license (agency license accepted) Minimum 2 years of current experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology Experience providing moderate sedation BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) – must be current COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (declinations not approved) Prior travel experience highly preferred Prior Cerner experience highly preferred Current resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), and 2 supervisory references required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role places you at the forefront of modern healthcare, where interventional radiology is transforming patient outcomes through decreased recovery times, reduced costs, and minimally invasive techniques.
