location: Chicago, IL Job type: Full-time Job Description: We are
seeking a Program Supervisor by providing direct clinical
supervision to program staff, assisting in the development of
crisis care infrastructure, and delivering a small portion of
direct clinical services. This role is critical in ensuring
high-quality crisis response and effective team management for
individuals in North Lawndale experiencing non-violent mental
health crises. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and provide ongoing
guidance to Community Outreach Engagement Specialists. Assist with
supervision of mobile crisis response teams, ensuring fidelity to
Crisis Care System protocols. Lead the development and
implementation of educational and training programs for Community
Outreach Engagement Specialists. Conduct brief clinical
therapy/counseling and crisis intervention as needed. Respond
proactively to crisis calls and coordinate team activities. Conduct
risk assessments, develop safety plans, and provide advocacy for
clients. Qualifications: LCSW is required. 12-hour shifts (8 AM-8
PM or 8 PM-8 AM), including weekends. Supervisors may have 8-hour
shifts but must be flexible to oversee both day and night staff.
Valid driver's license, current car insurance, and access to a
reliable motor vehicle. Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling,
Psychology, or related field required. Minimum 3 years
post-master's experience in social services (preferred). At least 2
years supervisory experience. Experience working with
trauma-exposed populations and establishing community support
networks. Strong understanding of challenges related to
homelessness, PTSD, substance use, disabilities, and other mental
