registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered
Nurse with ICU expertise to provide exceptional patient care in a
demanding Level 1 Trauma Center in Chicago, IL. This contract
position involves a structured schedule that ensures a balanced
workflow while fostering professional growth in critical care
settings. Position Details: Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours
each, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Weekend Commitment: Every other
weekend, totaling approximately two weekends per month Paid Time
Off: Up to 5 days off with specific guidelines excluding holidays
and weekends Floating Requirement: Mandatory float within ICU units
including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, and
potentially Medical-Surgical units as needed Guaranteed Work Hours:
36 hours per week Orientation: The first week includes orientation
and precepting on day shifts Qualifications and Experience: Minimum
of 2 years recent acute care experience in an ICU setting
Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of
Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Active nursing license required;
pending licenses are not accepted Preference for local candidates
residing within 75 miles to facilitate smooth staffing Key
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically
ill patients across various ICU specialties Adapt to changing unit
demands by floating within scope of practice Utilize Cerner
electronic health record system for documentation Collaborate
effectively with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced trauma
