Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. ProCare Therapy is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide specialized support to students in Rockford, IL schools. These opportunities focus primarily on elementary and middle school populations, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in students' educational experiences through therapeutic intervention. Two positions are available: - One full-time role for the remainder of the school year, primarily serving elementary students. - One contract position to cover a leave from January through March, with a caseload spanning kindergarten through 8th grade across 1-2 sites. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy services to students, supporting their development and educational goals. - Manage caseloads ranging from 35 to 40 students. - Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans. - Participate in evaluations, documentation, and progress reporting according to school and state guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: - Licensed Occupational Therapist credential. - Comfort supporting either elementary-only or K-8 caseloads. - New graduates encouraged to apply; substantial onsite mentorship and support available. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an educational setting.
