Responsibilities: Implement individualized treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist Help residents improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) Address strength, coordination, balance, and functional mobility Provide evidence-based, personalized occupational therapy interventions Motivate and guide patients to achieve their highest level of function Promote healthy lifestyle habits and functional wellness Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT Accurately document patient care services in Net Health Skills & Qualifications: Current Illinois COTA license Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred Knowledge of current occupational therapy treatment practices Ability to manage diverse patient personalities with compassion and professionalism Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to continued learning and growth Career Advantages: In-House Therapy Department (Non-Contracted) Competitive PRN pay rates & flexible schedule Supportive, collaborative therapy and nursing team Clinical training and expertise available Net Health electronic documentation system Practice in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical care IND2
