Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A full-time occupational therapy position is available in an elementary school setting in Des Plaines, IL, with services extending to Long Grove, IL. This opportunity begins ASAP and is contracted through February, with a strong possibility of extension. You will be supporting students in grades 1 through 5, providing both push-in and pull-out occupational therapy services to a manageable caseload. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized OT services to elementary students, focusing on grades 1 to 5. Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom. Implement push-in and pull-out therapy sessions to effectively address functional needs. Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with parents and school personnel. Desired Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings. Comfortable managing a manageable caseload of elementary-aged students. Skilled in both push-in and pull-out therapy approaches. Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff and families. Ability to adapt and tailor therapy to diverse student needs. Location & Assignment Details: Position is based in Des Plaines, IL, serving elementary students with some travel to Long Grove, IL. Contract position starting immediately and continuing through February, with potential for extension. Full-time schedule.
