Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: The Cardiac Tele Short Stay Unit is a low acuity unit that monitors and evaluates patients for an observation period of up to 16 hours. During the stay, a decision is made whether to discharge or admit the patient. If you enjoy a fast-paced, hospital-based patient care environment, this may be the unit for you! - Sign on bonus: 10K for nights - Position: Registered Nurse ? Cardiac Tele Short Stay Unit (Nights) - Location: Chicago, IL - Full Time - Hours: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am; every other weekend and rotating holidays required - Required Travel: May float to other inpatient units as needed. What you will do: - Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families. - Maintains competency reflective of current standards practice. - Interacts and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues. - Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of nursing practice. - Integrates evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing practice. - Recognizes and adjusts to situations that vary from the norm. - Promotes safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries. - Guides and supervises staff in the provision of patient care. - Enhances own professional growth and development. - Maintains a safe therapeutic working environment and recognizes need for action in emergency situations. - Documentation is thoroughly and timely completed - Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
