Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Harvey, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,990 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Harvey, Illinois, 60426! Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Must have an active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - 1 year of ICU experience - Experience with critical care diagnoses including neurological and cardiac conditions - Ability to manage various critical care equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pump and pulmonary artery lines Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specialized in the Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will be responsible for caring for critically ill patients. Patient to nurse ratios are typically 1:2, occasionally 1:3. Weekend shifts required every other weekend. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. The unit sees a variety of diagnoses and an increased volume of cardiac and neurological patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The work environment supports rapid response teams and code teams. The nurse will be required to monitor and manage dysrhythmias and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips. Experience with patient care charting systems is preferred. The facility has a daily census of approximately 24 patients within the 24-bed unit.
