Job Description:
Franciscan Ministries is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Dedicated to
following the healing mission of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago,
our community-focused services are designed to deliver high-quality
care with respect and dignity. The ideal candidate will have a
passion for elder care and a dedication to contributing positively
to our community environment. This position involves working
closely with other healthcare professionals to provide daily care
needs, administer medications, and create a supportive environment
for our residents. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or
disabled patients within a facility setting. Monitor patient health
and document nursing care. Collaborate with registered nurses to
administer prescribed medications, treat wounds, and monitor vital
signs. Educate patients and their families on proper home health
care strategies and procedures. Implement patient care plans and
assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in maintaining
accurate health care records and reports. Adept in administering
medications and providing a range of treatments. Knowledge of
emergency response and patient handling protocols. Medical
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current LPN license in the state of
employment. CPR/BLS certification required.
