Franciscan Ministries, deeply rooted in the compassionate care ethos of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, is seeking a dedicated Ancora Memory Care Manager to lead our memory care team. This role entails overseeing the comprehensive care programs designed specifically for residents with memory impairments such as Alzheimer's and dementia. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the quality of life for these individuals through innovative care strategies, meticulous planning, and profound empathy. Develop, implement, and continually assess effective memory care programs tailored to resident needs. Train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance ensuring high standards of care. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care plans. Monitor the well-being and progress of residents, adjusting care plans as needed. Engage with families of residents to offer updates and assure them of the quality of care. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning dementia care. Strong leadership and team management abilities. High emotional intelligence and empathy for dealing with sensitive situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in clinical oversight and memory care best practices. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) preferred. Valid nursing or related healthcare license.
