Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse
to join our Float Pool, contributing to our mission of transforming
healthcare through innovation and compassionate care. In this
dynamic role, you will provide critical nursing support across
various departments, adapting to different clinical environments
while maintaining high standards of care. Ideal candidates will
thrive in changing settings and exhibit a commitment to enhancing
patient health outcomes across our network of facilities. Provide
direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in various
departments based on daily needs. Adjust care techniques and
practices in real-time based on specific patient conditions and
departmental requirements. Participate in interdisciplinary teams
to ensure effective communication and patient care planning.
Monitor and record patient health status and responses to treatment
while ensuring documentation meets compliance standards. Educate
patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and
hospital stays to support informed decision-making and care
continuity. Administer medications and treatments meticulously,
ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and standards. Support
other nursing staff and assist with training and development to
foster a collaborative and skilled team environment. Excellent
adaptability to rapidly changing environments Strong clinical
skills across a variety of medical specializations Proficiency with
electronic medical record systems Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to make swift decisions in
high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of
practice BLS Certification required ACLS Certification
