About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care
experience in Medical/Surgical. License: Must possess an active
nursing license. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS
preferred. Must-Have: Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
Description: Position: Registered Nurse in Medical/Surgical. Shift:
3 twelve-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There is no block
scheduling. Weekend requirement is every other weekend, totaling 2
weekends per month. Requests for time off are limited to 5 days
maximum, with no more than 2 consecutive days. No requests for time
off will be accepted during holidays or the weekends surrounding
holidays. Floating is mandatory at the facility’s discretion. All
clinicians are required to float to meet facility needs.
Certifications in BLS and NIHSS are required, with ACLS preferred.
The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center. Charting system utilized
is Cerner. Candidate must have skills in interpretation and
management of dysrhythmias and tracheostomy care. An understanding
of peripheral line care and management, oxygen administration, and
isolation precautions is necessary. Candidate must be responsive in
communications and provide required documentation in a timely
manner. If unresponsive, the candidate may risk not continuing the
assignment. Additional training modules may need to be completed
prior to the start of the assignment. Boosters for vaccinations are
