Intermediate or Advanced preferred Must-Have: Epic experience
required Must have experience in Labor and Delivery, Level 1
Nursery, and Mother/Baby care. Description: We are seeking a Labor
and Delivery Registered Nurse. This position requires first-time
travelers with one year of experience. The shift is 3x12 hours
during the day, every third weekend. Holiday work may be required.
Certifications required include BLS, FHM, and NRP. AWHONN
Intermediate or Advanced certifications are preferred. Epic
experience is mandatory. Candidates should have experience in Labor
and Delivery, LDRP, and antepartum care. Skills include fetal
monitoring, IV therapy, medication administration, and pain
management. Experience with postpartum care, triage, and emergency
care is essential. The unit consists of 12 beds. This setting
utilizes specific staffing guidelines for optimum patient care.
Travelers must adhere to grooming standards for mask fit testing.
All travelers will complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to
start. Candidates cannot work past one year as a traveler without
taking a six-month break. Modules are required to be completed
prior to the start of the assignment. This nursing role includes a
diverse patient population across different age groups. The daily
census reflects the active patient load within the unit.
Interdisciplinary support is available for a comprehensive care
approach. Candidates will engage in various procedures including
labor delivery, postpartum recovery, and neonatal care. Skills in
emergency response and newborn assessment are fundamental to this
role. Knowledge in breastfeeding support and postpartum education
